Added a Layout File box on the Display tab of the Preferences dialog to choose the default window layout that will be used when SpectraLayers starts.
Added a Layout Mode drop-down list on the Display tab of the Preferences dialog to choose whether you want to optimize the interface for a desktop or tablet computer during startup. When you choose Tablet, the interface elements are optimized for touchscreen editing.
To change the layout during editing, choose View > Desktop or View > Tablet. (Windows only)
Added a DPI Scaling drop-down list on the Display tab of the Preferences dialog to choose whether you want to optimize the interface for a normal or high-resolution display during startup. (Windows only)
Added an Invert Mouse Wheel Axes check box to the Display tab of the Preferences dialog if the mouse wheel axes are inverted in the waveform and spectrum graph.
Added support for Ctrl drag (Windows) and ⌘-drag (OS X) for panning the spectrum display.
Added support for reading and exporting Opus files.
Added a Mix All Layers check box in the Sample window. Select the check box to view sample data for all layers as a mix, or clear the check box if you want to view sample data for each layer independently,
Added a Settings button to the Device tab in the Preferences dialog to allow you to configure ASIO audio devices. If you're using an ASIO audio device, click to display the ASIO Preferences dialog.

v2.1 [Feb 1, 2014]
- Added support for reverb removal.
- Improved Graph tool: you can now choose from horizontal or vertical layout, display markers, and press /- to change the vertical scale of the graph.
- When using the Extract Noise tool, you can now choose whether to extract the signal or noise.
- Fixed a bug that prevent Edit in SpectraLayers Pro from working with some files that were edited in Sound Forge Pro 11.

v2.0 [Jul 24, 2013]
SpectraLayers Pro 2 features a redesigned engine that can deliver up to an eightfold increase in performance speed. Enjoy faster spectral graph explorations in any scenario, even while using 3D Displace mode. To improve upon the "artistic noiseprint" approach to noise reduction, SpectraLayers Pro 2 provides a convenient one-click command that instantly extracts your custom noiseprint over the target layer’s entire spectral expanse.
In SpectraLayers Pro 2, you can use the frequency spectrum of one layer as a mold or cast for carving an impression of its frequency signature directly into the spectrum of a second layer. The resulting third layer—called the impression layer—can then be shaped with any process. You can even invert its phase and combine it with the second layer to create a wide-open space for the first layer to breathe, free from any problematic sonic interference or masking caused by the second layer. The creative possibilities are limitless. Spectral Casting/Spectral Molding can be a far more elegant approach than simple ducking, and the enormous sound design capabilities of this new feature are poised to take creative music and sound design to an unprecedented new level.
